Yesterday I got some news that sent me into an embarrassing bout of jumping up and down and squealing, complete with what Elizabeth Corva calls happy flappy hands. InD’Tale Magazine announced the nominees for the 2014 RONE Awards, and my books Athena’s Daughter and Song Without Words are on the list!
Athena’s Daughter is nominated in the Contemporary: Artists and Writers category, and voting will be March 17-23. Song Without Words is up for Suspense/Thriller, and voting for that category will take place April 7-13. The finalists in each category will go on to the final judge’s panel, and the winners will be announced at the RONE Award ceremony in Las Vegas on July 11th.
My family will probably be tempted to knock me in the head before it’s all over, but this is the biggest industry recognition my books have received, and I’m going to dance all the way through it. With happy flappy hands!
